Nečujam is the most recently founded settlement that grew from private vacation houses as well as planned hotel construction. Nečujam is the largest and most beautiful cove on Šolta. It is the tourist center of the island, which, due to its extensive accommodation offer meets all guests’ needs, some of them being regular visitors for decades. Due to is numerous coves like Piškera, Maslinica, Podkamenica, Šumpljivina and Tiha, Island Šolta has a great potential of becoming important nautical and excursion center.
Today, it is a modern tourist village connected with the mainland (Split) few times a day, while the rest of the island can be further reached by taxi or bus line. Nečujam is the center of the island mainly because of our tourist village.
Beach in Nečujam is the largest on the island. It was made artificially by adding granulated pebbles, material ideal for the formation of new beaches. Beach is regularly cleansed and maintained and it has additional facilities like showers, two beach buffets, water slide, rent a boat office, fast food, tennis courts and table tennis.
